Silent Auction

Register to bid on a variety of intriguing collectibles featured in our Silent Auction. New items are added frequently and range from vintage hand tools and local pottery to designer handbags and fine china.

Bid Accepted

The last bidder will receive a call 6 days after they bid.


Pick Up

Pick up your item within the 2 week time frame


We encourage all bidders to fully inspect items before bidding. No claims or certifications are made as to the authenticity or value of any item. There are NO RETURNS on Silent Auction items.

  • If you are new, our staff will help you sign up for a bidder number. Only one number per bidder. If you forget your number, we can easily look it up.
  • Bidders under 18 must have a parent co-sign the registration card.
  • Bids by telephone on an item are accepted if an original bid has been placed in person.
  • You may bid as often as you like on as many items as you want.
  • Bid must be raised by the minimum amount specified at the top of each bidding page.
  • Auction ends when bidding is dormant for 5 business days (Monday through Saturday) on that item.
  • The highest bidder will be contacted by phone at the close of that auction.
  • Items must be picked up within 14 days of notification or they will be considered abandoned.
  • Save & Serve reserves the right to revoke bidding privileges for violation of auction rules or abandonment of items.

Are prices final? 

Yes. We price compassionately for standard items, and appropriately for higher value and collectible items. We value our volunteers’ judgment in setting prices based on the store’s guidelines and an item’s quality. Negotiating prices with cashiers is NOT permitted. 

(Rare exceptions for undetected flaws are by manager approval only.)

Sorry, we can’t hold items or track requests. You are welcome to call and ask if an item is in stock! Save & Serve will place a “temporary hold” for the length of time it takes to drive to the store.

Due to space limitations, we ask that furniture be picked up within 24 hours of purchase, unless other arrangements are made with the manager.

In fairness to all customers, we only sell items that are currently in the retail store.

Save & Serve does NOT put items on hold, take partial payment or accept returns. All purchases are final.

We test all electronic and battery operated items but occasionally one malfunctions after purchase. Faulty electrical items may be returned within two (2) business days of purchase. The original receipt and item must be present to receive a refund.
